Atomic Force Microscopy

Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) uses a sharp tip to view microscopic objects and overcomes the limitations of optical microscopy. It works thanks to the forces between the tip and the atoms on the surface, allowing the morphology of the surface to be studied with a resolution of 1 nm. MFA laboratories are useful for analyzing solid surfaces.

Chemical identification of materials at the molecular level through the measurement of Raman-active vibration spectra. Identification of inhomogeneities by sweeping samples in the surface plane and at depths.

Thin Films

The main objective is to synthesize carbon films using the Chemical Vapor Deposition technique. In addition, other materials such as silicon oxide, vanadium dioxide and dicalkogenides are sought to be synthesized using various synthesis techniques. These materials are used to study properties in hybrid optoelectronic devices.
